Edmond North defensive lineman Hunter Richard fell in love with West Point and he wanted to make it home.

The defensive tackle recently committed to Army.

“It's big-time football with the best education one can get,” Richard told GoBlackKnights.com, a Rivals website covering the program. “I love the coaches and the program. But most importantly, I feel like that's where I was meant to be.”

Richard is 6 foot 3 and 270 pounds. Last season, he recorded 31 tackles and a sack for the Huskies, who went 1-9.

Richard, if he signs, will be the fifth Oklahoman to sign with Army in 15 years. He also held a scholarship offer from Abilene Christian.
