In their previous meeting, Mustang routed Edmond North 58 - 21. While not characterized by quite the same dominating performance, the rematch ultimately ended up the same way. Mustang was able to grind out a solid victory over Edmond North, winning 41 - 29. That was the first triumph on the road for Mustang this season.
The defeat dropped Edmond North's record to 2-4. Mustang is now evened up at 3-3.
The two teams have their sights set on raising those records in their upcoming games. Edmond North will square off against Putnam City this Friday at 7:00 PM. As for Mustang, it will face off against Moore Friday at 7:00 PM.
