42 Edmond Athletes sign collegiately

Forty-two of Edmond’s high school seniors signed their National Letters of Intent Wednesday, announcing their decision on where they plan to attend college and continue playing sports. Each school honored their signees in their own respective ways, with Memorial ditching their commons to give their three signees more room in the auditorium. Oklahoma Christian Academy honored their six at the end of a 30-minute worship period, and Santa Fe had to hold their celebration in their large cafeteria Wednesday afternoon after the Wolves tied for the largest signing class of Edmond. Deer Creek High School, who matched Santa Fe’s Wednesday total, signed another 13 athletes. Nine of those came in the sport of soccer. Six more Huskies signed north of town, joining nine other Edmond North athletes who signed collegiately in the fall.
