The varsity baseball team picked up 2 district wins over Midwest City this week, outscoring the Bombers 30-2 in the process.
Caleb Isaacs and Jackie Robinson picked up the wins on the mound for the Huskies. Isaacs went 4 innings on Monday, striking out 10 Bomber batters. On Tuesday, Robinson went 3 strong innings, striking out 6.
Monday, the Huskies were led by Noah Miller who went 3-4 and drove in 4 runs. Colby Entwistle was also 3-4 on the night with 2 RBI's.
Entwistle didn't slow down on Tuesday with another 3-4 night, including 2 homeruns, a triple, and knocking in 4 runs. Karsten Menard went 2-2, had 3 RBI, and contributed a homerun of his own. Janson Reeder, Tyler Stewart, and Max Bouvette all had 2 hits for the Huskies.
The wins push North's record to 12-3-1 on the season. They will continue play on Thursday when they travel to Enid to participate in the Gladys Winters Tournament.
