Edmond North's softball team picked up a big win on Monday night with a 3-1 victory over cross town rival Edmond Memorial.
Senior Jacee Minter picked up the win on the mound, going 6 1/3 innings. Minter only gave up one run on two hits. Evy Aud recorded the last two outs of the game to pick up the save.
At the plate, North was led by sophomore Emily Deramus. Deramus went 2-4 and picked up 2 RBI's in the 5th inning put the Lady Huskies up 2-1. Kamryb Garvie would add her own RBI in the 7th to put the finishing touches on the 3-1 victory.
The win put the Lady Huskies record at 6-3 on the young season.
