Edmond North Softball completed a perfect week on Saturday by defeating Deer Creek 7-1 and winning the Edmond Tournament. North beat Midwest City, Owasso, Yukon and the Antlers to claim the title. Earlier in the week, the Lady Huskies took down Norman North and Deer Creek. Their record on the season is 20-8, and they have won 10 out of their last 11 games.
North had huge weeks at the plate from seniors Kamryn Garvie and Jacee Minter.
Garvie went a combined 11-17, scoring 9 runs, hit 4 2B's, 3 HR's, and had 7 RBI.
Minter went 13-18, scored 12 runs, hit 3 2B's, 1 3B, 4HR's, and had 11 RBI on the week.
North will not play again until this weekend when they play in the Oklahoma Christian Shootout.
