The Edmond North fastpitch softball team beat Deer Creek 7-1 in the championship game of the Edmond Tournament on Saturday.
Yukon took second with a 4-2 win over Newcastle, and Westmoore beat Owasso 10-2 in the third-place game. Choctaw was awarded the win in the fourth place-game as the result of a forfeit by Midwest City.
The tournament was hosted by Edmond North. Coach Rick Nordyke hopes to keep the tournament going in the future.
