The Edmond North Volleyball Team knocked off #1 ranked Broken Arrow last night to claim the 2019 6A state volleyball championship.
After dropping the first set 26-24, the Lady Huskies took the next 3 sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-22) to win the championship match 3-1.
On Monday, North took down Deer Creek in the quarterfinals (3-0), and Edmond Memorial in the semis (3-1) to earn their spot in the championship match.
It was the program's second overall volleyball title, the other coming just 4 years ago in 2015. North finished the season with a record of 27-6.
