The 9th grade boys basketball team flipped the script on the Deer Creek Antlers last night at Deer Creek HS. Down 36-24 at the half and by as much as 16 at one point in the 1st half, the Huskies turned it around after halftime to come out with a 52-43 victory.

Dylan Rains scored 8 of his team high 14 in the second half to lead the Huskies. Ethan Brady was the only other Husky in double figures with 12.

More impressive was the defense in the second half. After giving up 36 1st half points, the Huskies held Deer Creek to only 7 total points after halftime. North outscored the Antlers 13-2 in the 3rd to get them with one point entering the 4th quarter, and then put the game away in the last stanza outscoring the Antlers 17-5.

The win brought the Huskies record to 6-8. The Huskies will be in action again Thursday night at 6:45 when they host Yukon.
