The Edmond North softball team traveled to Putnam City on Tuesday evening to take on the Lady Pirates.

Madison Barnes led off the the top of the first with an infield single and would then score in a double by Allison Henry.

With the game tied 2-2 in the top of the 6th inning, Henry scored on a ground ball hit by Cadence Zalopany.

North put up 2 more runs in the top of the 7th after Maggie Wimmer tripled and then scored of a Jadison Ackerman sacrifice fly. Later in the inning Allison Henry picked up her 2nd RBI of the game when she singled up the middle to scored Barnes.

Junior Morgan Thomas went all 7 innings to pick up the win. Thomas gave up 2 earned runs on 4 hits while striking out 3 Pirates.

The Lady Huskies have 2 more games this week. They will host Norman North at home on Thursday, and they will travel to Santa Fe to play the Wolves on Friday.
